KNOXVILLE, Tenn. — September 8, 2008 Safety and Ecology Corporation (SEC) an environmental services company takes enjoyment in a meet and greet with Congressman John J. Duncan Jr. on Thursday, September 04, 2008 at SEC’s corporate offices on Solway Road in Knoxville. Founded in the basement of his home in 1991, SEC’s CEO Chris Leichtweis has grown this Knoxville based company to approximately 400 employees.
Congressmen re-unite. Former Congressman Thomas C. McMillen and Congressman Duncan still bump into each other in Washington DC, but Duncan welcomes McMillen to Knoxville. McMillen is Chairman and CEO of Homeland Security Capital Corporation (HSCC) which acquired Knoxville based Safety and Ecology Corporation (SEC) in March, 2008. Congressman Duncan tells SEC employees that they are
