SEC, AWARDED MULTIPLE CONTRACTS TOTALING $1 MILLION
Contracts Awarded from US Department of Energy’s Prime Contractor, the University of Tennessee-Battelle
ARLINGTON, VA – July 14, 2008 – Homeland Security Capital Corporation (OTCBB: HOMS) subsidiary Safety and Ecology Corporation, an international, environmental construction and disaster recovery services company, has been awarded nearly $1 million in contracts in support of the US Department of Energy’s (the “DOE”) mission for the modernization of the Oak Ridge Reservation.
Safety and Ecology Corporation has been awarded eight contracts within the last twelve months, from the DOE’s prime contractor, UT-Battelle. UT-Battelle is the management contractor for DOE’s Oak Ridge National Laboratory (the “ORNL”). The company’s scope on these projects includes infrastructure reduction, demolition, facility closure, and infrastructure upgrades for projects at the ORNL.

On July 9, the company was awarded a contract worth more than $300K at the ORNL to complete demolition of facilities in support of the modernization programs.
