SEC Ltd exhibits at Nu-Tech Exhibition at Dounreay

Safety & Ecology Corporation (SEC) Ltd exhibited jointly with Scientifics at the Dounreay Nuclear Technology (Nu-Tech) Conference on the 17th of May. In addition to marketing our environmental and radiological protection services, SEC Ltd representatives were demonstrating the Global Environmental Materials Monitoring System (GEMMS) software for the first time in the UK. GEMMS generated plenty of interest with the benefits of an integrated system being appreciated by both UKAEA personnel and contractors.

Scientifics were marketing the sampling and analysis expertise and service which they offer with their new US partner GEL LLC to the nuclear market. They are keen to utilise GEMMS to provide an auditable trail for analytical results feeding directly into their customers waste management systems.

Mark Brennan of Scientifics stated that ‘The blend of SEC Ltd and Scientifics services complemented each other and there is significant scope to further extend our joint working.
