SEC LAUNCHES INSTRUMENT LAB IN RICHLAND
The expansion of the Richland office provides Lab resources for the Western US
RICHLAND, WA Safety and Ecology Corporation (SEC) announces today the launch of an instrumentation and calibration service center in Richland, Washington. Capabilities of the laboratory will include: radiological and industrial instrument hygiene instrumentation rental, calibration and repair.
“SEC is proud to provide an additional offering to the Richland Office. This instrument lab will provide enhanced service to our customers in the Western US and Pacific Rim, in addition to supporting DOE’s mission for clean up at the Hanford and INL sites,” said Christopher Leichtweis, SEC’s CEO.
SEC provides world-wide rental, calibration and maintenance services for radiological and industrial hygiene instrumentation. SEC offers long-term lease, short-term lease or lease-to-own instruments in addition to professional consultation for customer instrumentation application and development.
Offering industrial hygiene and radiological instrumentation, SEC calibrates and repairs Radiation Detection and Industrial Hygiene instruments of all makes and models from a variety of manufacturers. SEC also provides specialty instrumentation services that respond to today’s nuclear industry trend toward D&D and environmental remediation support. Examples include: ISOCS/LabSOCS; Gamma Spectroscopy and Global Positioning Systems (GPS). SEC can provide radiological instrumentation together with GPS to produce precise field measurements on CAD-quality survey maps for both indoor and outdoor applications.
