SEC AWARDED BWXT IR GOA AGAIN!
Infrastructure Reduction General Ordering Agreement at ORNL
KNOXVILLE, TENN On March 25, 2007 Safety and Ecology Corporation (SEC) was awarded the re-competed BWXT Y-12 General Ordering Agreement IRDD Dismantling and Demolition project in Oak Ridge, Tennessee. In addition, SEC was awarded the Task 28 job to demolish a large equipment building at the Oak Ridge National Laboratory.
The original contract was awarded to SEC in May, 2004. The contract period was up and re-competed. SEC was selected as a GOA winner along with the following companies: AMARC (Small, Woman-Owned); Eagle (Small, HUBZone); GEM (Small 8(a)); Pangea (Small 8(a) Disadvantaged); PAS-COY (Small) and StrataG (Small, Veteran-owned).
