SEC AWARDED $100M CONTRACT IN BUFFALO, NY

KNOXVILLE, TENN   Safety and Ecology Corporation (SEC) was awarded a $100M contract from the Department of Army, Buffalo District, Army Corps of Engineers on March 19, 2007. The Buffalo Multiple Award Remediation Contract (MARC) contract was awarded to SEC among six other small businesses including: Other awarded companies include: LATA (VD); ECC (SB); TPNC (8a); Pangea (8a) and Cabrerra (8a)

Proposals were submitted in May, 2006 and the SEC team is comprised of CH2M HILL (HILL) – a premier remedial construction and engineering firm; CAPE Environmental (CAPE) – an engineering firm with impressive USACE experience; Visionary Solutions (VS) – an 8(a), small business that is a leader in transportation and disposal of waste and Regional and local subcontractors.
