SEC Announces Executive Management Move
SEC President, Mark J. Duff, Leaving Company for B&W Y-12 LLC
Knoxville, Tennessee – February 5, 2010 –Safety and Ecology Corporation (SEC) announced today that its president, Mark J. Duff is leaving the company to become Director, Environmental Management Operations for B&W Y-12 LLC, beginning March 1, 2010.
“We regret Mark’s departure and appreciate his contribution to SEC and the Team,” said Christopher P. Leichtweis, SEC CEO and Homeland Security Capital Corporation’s President. “He has been instrumental in making substantial improvements to the company during the last six years, and we wish him the best of luck at B&W Y-12.”
Duff joined SEC as president in 2004 and has over 25 years of leadership experience in the management of technical business and government operations. Duff recently served as the vice president of Science Applications International Corp for more than 10 years.
Mr. Leichtweis will assume the responsibilities as president for SEC, until decisions on a replacement are finalized.
